- At the corner of the WhatsApp, tap on x;
- Tap on delete and then press the home button.
Alternatively, you can open the WhatsApp app on your phone, and on the bottom right corner of the screen, tap on the Settings option. Under settings you can then tap on “delete my account”, enter your phone number and then delete your account.
If you still want to go back to using your Whatsapp account, you can uninstall the app again and restore all your backed-up data.
